''LATER''

At the bus stop on the queue

We only exchange words after it starts pouring

when you ask to share my small umbrella.
With rain in the city comes traffic so we enjoy each other's
company since we'll be stuck with each other for some time.

Eventually we find ourselves at the same final destination

and even exchange contacts since for some reason we'd want
to finish the conversation we've just left hanging later.

So  it's a couple of years later and our conversation is still hanging...
Later, how could you bail on me like that?

First day of lecture and we exchange hi's.

The lecturer gives a project and he wants guys to work in two's,

 I can't think of a better partner.

The semester is almost over and it turns out having you as my

study partner was the best decision I made that semester.

I've been detached from my social life since we've spent pretty

much every single free time together trying to get a good grade.

I'm looking forward to do holiday things with you later, as we've promised each other.
The holiday is almost over without a single call or text, I've literally been waiting.
Later, did you get a new meaning and I missed the memo?

It's bad enough that I have to worry about whether
I have a bad system of decoding messages or
think of how better I would have handled our acquaintance.

Later, I'm still waiting for the day I'll catch up with you

and when I do I need you to know that
you and I will have alot to talk about.
